My name is Jonah Johnson, and I have the privilege of serving as Northview’s Youth Minister. Alongside me is my wonderful wife, Sydney, who plays an integral role in supporting me in this ministry. Together, we’re passionate about walking alongside young people as they grow in their mental and spiritual maturity and discover God’s purpose for their lives as connected, faithful Christians.
Our Mission
Our aim is to assist in the development of mature Christian adults who are shaped into the image of Christ and are equipped to carry out His mission in the world as active participants in a body of believers. We are working to accomplish this vision through our C.H.R.I.S.T. goals:
C- CONVERSION
We help young people understand the gospel and make a personal commitment to follow Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
H- HOLDING
We encourage them to develop a faith of their own that remains strong through questions, challenges, and changing seasons of life.
R- REFLECTING
We teach them to reflect the character and love of Jesus in their choices, relationships, and daily lives.
I- INVOLVEMENT
We invite them to take an active part in the worship, work, and fellowship of the congregation.
S- SERVING
We help them discover and use their gifts, time, and abilities to serve Christ and others.
